International Days of Limnology and Oceanography

27 May 2020 to 29 May 2020

The 2020 Congress of the AFL (French Association of Limnology) and the UOF (Union of French Oceanographers), henceforth called the “International Limnology and Oceanography Days” (JILO) will once again be hosted by Aix-Marseille University, 6 years after JILO 2014 and 31 years after the first symposium, at that time called the International Limnology-Oceanography Congress (CILO). JILO 2020 marks the fifth time that Marseille has hosted the event, underlining a long history of exchanges between aquatic scientists. Given the importance of societal impacts today, this event reaches out to the fields of the Social Sciences and Environmental Law. JILO 2020 is also very much turned towards Southern countries, and in this context the IRD (Institute for Research and Development) has been fully involved in the event’s organisation. The University Aix-Marseille will be your host for the JILO 2020 edition which will take place on its premises, in the Jardin du Pharo.
