MEUST CNRS project in La Seyne-sur-Mer

Clara Herer, CNRS Côte d'Azur regional delegate, and Aurélie Philippe, CNRS Provence and Corsica regional delegate, welcomed Nathalie Bicais, Mayor of La Seyne-sur-Mer, on Tuesday, August 30, for a visit of the DT INSU facilities, a presentation of the real estate project and of the activities of the DT INSU, the MIO and the CPPM, which will be carried out in the future MEUST building.
The visit took place in the presence of Jean-Jacques Fourmond, Director of the INSU Technical Division, Valerie Michotey, Director of the MIO, Cristinel Diaconu, Director of the CPPM (Marseille Particle Physics Center) and Jean-Daniel Barde, Acting Head of the Côte d'Azur Delegation's Technical and Logistics Department.
The CNRS is building the operational support base for the Mediterranean Interdisciplinary and Interagency Workshop on the Brégaillon platform in La Seyne-sur-Mer, in the heart of the Technopôle de la Mer. This MEUST building will include the INSU Technical Division and several shared premises for the CPPM and MIO laboratories. The 2,426 m² building complex includes tertiary and industrial premises (storage, integration hall and workshops).
