On the occasion of the High Council for Franco-Tunisian Cooperation, two international joint laboratory agreements (LMI) were signed

Two LMIs in which the MIO is strongly involved:

LMI BIOTEC H2 - Production and storage of biohydrogen and methane by valorization of fermentable agro-food by-products
Signatories: the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Institute of Research for Development.
LMI BIOTEC H2 aims to produce biohydrogen from agro-food waste. This process would represent an energy-generating and fully environmentally friendly technology.
MIO contact: Pierre Pol Liebgott

LMI COSYS-MED - Contaminants and marine ecosystems in the southern Mediterranean
Signatories: the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, IRESA (Institution of Agricultural Research and Higher Education) and the Institute of Research for Development.
These signatures demonstrate the commitment of the IRD and the Tunisian research institutions to a sustainable future, within the framework of an equitable scientific partnership.
The renewal of the COSYS-MED laboratory reinforces the existing cooperation on the major theme of contaminants in marine environments and their impacts on biodiversity in the southern Mediterranean.
