Thesis Prize of the 2019 Institute of Oceanography

21 June 2019

The mission of the Institut océanographique, Fondation Albert Ier Prince de Monaco is to promote the knowledge and protection of the oceans among all its audiences and to act as a mediator between scientists, civil society actors, the general public, political and economic decision-makers and the media. In this context, the Institute of Oceanography created a Thesis Prize in 2013, in addition to the Prince Albert I Grand Medals in the Mediation and Science sections.

The Thesis Prize, worth €3,000, is awarded annually to a young researcher to help him/her pursue his/her career.

The Oceanographic Institute is launching a wide call for applications from institutions that train doctors in disciplines related to the sea and the ocean, including Natural Sciences, Environment, Law, Geography and History, etc. We are pleased to invite you to share the information for this seventh edition of the Institute of Oceanography Thesis Award with the students for whom you are responsible. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation and, to this end, we attach to this message the application rules and the candidate sponsorship form.
