Thesis Prize awarded by the Oceanographic Institute
Since its creation in 1906, the Oceanographic Institute has supported the knowledge and sustainable management of the Ocean. In particular, it awards various scientific prizes, among which the Thesis Prize rewards a young researcher for outstanding thesis work.
Each year, the Thesis Prize is awarded to a young researcher who has graduated from a French doctoral school, for his/her thesis work related to the Ocean in all its dimensions, as well as for the publications resulting from his/her thesis. The thesis may be in any discipline and deal with the Ocean from a physical or biological point of view or with the relationship between Man and the Ocean.
The innovative nature of the thesis and its contribution to changing the approach to the subject will be particularly appreciated and evaluated, in particular by the level of publications already produced.
The winner will receive a prize of 3,000 euros. The prize will be awarded at a prestigious ceremony to be held in March 2022 at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
We are pleased to invite you to nominate a candidate for the 2022 title, among the students for whom you are responsible, by June 20
