Ils comprennent plusieurs processus agissant \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles spatiales et temporelles.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les composantes horizontales des courants oc\u00e9aniques 3D sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement bien connues, cependant leurs composantes verticales (vitesses verticales, VV) restent largement \u00e0 caract\u00e9riser, bien qu&#8217;elles influencent le transfert de carbone de la surface vers les profondeurs de l&#8217;oc\u00e9an. Les objectifs scientifiques du projet sont :<\/p><ol><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quantifier l&#8217;intensit\u00e9 des VV et leur variabilit\u00e9 temporelle \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence (heure) le long de plusieurs cycles annuels sur un site fixe, et d\u00e9terminer leur contribution au transfert d&#8217;OC vers l&#8217;oc\u00e9an profond,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Etudier la variabilit\u00e9 spatiale des VV \u00e0 travers des structures physiques de fine \u00e9chelle (par exemple, le coeur et les bords des tourbillons, les fronts), et estimer comment ils influencent le transport d&#8217;OC vers l&#8217;oc\u00e9an profond \u00e0 travers de telles structures.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
