des conditions climatiques, il est important de d\u00e9velopper nos connaissances sur les dynamiques temporelles et spatiales qui caract\u00e9risent les oc\u00e9ans. Pour ce faire, seules de longues s\u00e9ries de mesures permettent de d\u00e9crire l\u2019\u00e9volution naturelle ou perturb\u00e9e d\u2019un syst\u00e8me \u00e0 forte variabilit\u00e9 saisonni\u00e8re et\/ou interannuelle. Ces observations r\u00e9guli\u00e8res sur de longues p\u00e9riodes de temps apparaissent de plus en plus comme un moyen indispensable d\u2019accompagnement de la recherche.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En effet, pour chacun des milieux naturels, il est n\u00e9cessaire de comprendre leur fonctionnement fondamental, de pr\u00e9voir les \u00e9volutions possibles \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles de temps. Les s\u00e9ries chronologiques \u00e9largissent \u00e9galement notre compr\u00e9hension des processus \u00e9cologiques et font partie int\u00e9grante de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des mod\u00e8les de la dynamique physique, biog\u00e9ochimique et \u00e9cologique des oc\u00e9ans.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019Institut M\u00e9diterran\u00e9en d\u2019Oc\u00e9anologie (MIO), en lien \u00e9troit et avec le soutien de l\u2019OSU Institut Pyth\u00e9as (via notamment la gestion de base de donn\u00e9es, le navire de station Astroides et le service plong\u00e9e), est un laboratoire de recherche largement impliqu\u00e9 dans l\u2019observation \u00e0 long terme des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes marins, en particulier dans le nord-ouest de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, mais aussi dans l\u2019oc\u00e9an Pacifique Sud. Les th\u00e8mes abord\u00e9s couvrent toutes les disciplines de l\u2019oc\u00e9anographie de la physique \u00e0 la biologie, et r\u00e9pondent donc \u00e0 l\u2019aspect transversal de ce laboratoire.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ces th\u00e8mes concernent l\u2019impact anthropique sur le milieu marin et plus particuli\u00e8rement la zone c\u00f4ti\u00e8re et les interfaces entre la haute mer, le continent et l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.
