The IRD's Young Associated Team - JEAI EXTREM BIODIV VALOR (MIO, MASCIR\/UM6P and UCA) - met in Morocco from 1<\/strong> at 7 December 2024<\/strong> on the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts for a mission to sample water and sediments from extreme Moroccan coastal ecosystems (thermal springs and saltworks at Nador and Oualidia).
Extremophilic microorganisms (bacteria, archaea and microalgae) will be analysed, identified and cultivated in the partner laboratories to study their biodiversity and assess their biotechnological potential in the fields of health and the environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
