Alongside UNOC3 and the One Ocean Congress, the scientific community and associations are mobilising to raise public awareness of the importance of the ocean and the role that everyone can play in preserving it. This event is the result of collaboration between COAL and OSU Pyth\u00e9as. The MIO is taking part!<\/p>

Three meetings with ocean scientists, activists and artists, hosted by Natacha Triou, journalist and producer of the programme Science CQFD<\/em><\/a> on France Culture<\/strong>.<\/p>

Dive into the fascinating world of bioluminescence and extraordinary sea creatures in a scientific and poetic exploration of underwater lights and the mysteries of the deep.<\/p>

    PROTECT THE OCEAN! YES, BUT HOW?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

    Although essential for biodiversity and the preservation of the oceans, marine areas that are actually protected represent only 0.1 % of mainland waters. How and where should these areas, where certain human activities are prohibited, be established? What other measures could be effective? Elected representatives, scientists and ocean protectors will discuss the challenges and solutions for effective protection of marine environments.<\/p>

      Global warming, overexploitation of resources, multiple forms of pollution... the ocean, vital for humanity, is under pressure! We can all do our bit to help preserve it. But what actions can each of us take?<\/p>
