This presentation synthesizes integrated approaches developed in Italy, Greece, and France within the framework of a PhD project focused on providing scientific support for the management of non-indigenous species. FAIR data practices supported the publication of Anadara spp. datasets, enabling stock assessments, spatial mapping, and nutritional analyses to evaluate their commercial exploitation potential. The ORMEF geoportal was updated to consolidate historical records of exotic fishes, while the CIMPAL index was expanded to assess cumulative impacts of invasive species, harmful algal blooms, and jellyfish blooms in the Aegean Sea. Participatory surveys combining Local Ecological Knowledge and socio-economic data were used to monitor the blue crab (Callinectes sapidus) in Italian hotspots and in the Berre Lagoon. At MIO, research also involved monthly monitoring of blue crab larvae and adults in Berre, Hyères, and Fréjus, as well as modelling the thermal vulnerability and habitat suitability of the Manila clam (Ruditapes philippinarum) across the Mediterranean and under future climate scenarios. These approaches underscore the importance of crossing disciplinary and geographic boundaries to inform adaptive management strategies.

Marina Chiappi, Doctorante à l’Université de Bologne et chercheuse associée à l’Institut pour les ressources biologiques marines et la biotechnologie du Conseil national de la recherche donnera un séminaire le […]

[17,1,39

post-23217","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-a-la-une","category-actualites","category-seminaire-mio
["GET
