    Abstract<\/strong><\/h4>

    Biological invasions are one of the main causes of biodiversity loss on a global scale, leading to losses in ecosystem functioning, profound changes in community composition and, in some cases, species extinctions. The Mediterranean, considered a biodiversity hot spot, is now one of the regions most affected by the introduction of species, with more than 1,000 introduced species recorded. This phenomenon does not spare marine macroalgae, several non-native species of which have recently become established and are proliferating along the Mediterranean coast, in particular Rugulopteryx okamurae, which has rapidly colonised the Parc national des Calanques since 2016, and Lophocladia trichoclados, which has been present in the Parc national de Port-Cros since 2021. In this context, this thesis aims to document and understand the invasion processes of these two macroalgal species in the Mediterranean, by studying their spatio-temporal dynamics and their ecological impacts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
