Submit your students' questions in advance to have a chance of getting answers, or take the opportunity to ask them live.<\/p><p>Marie-Ma\u00eblle is focusing her interest on the mysteries of mercury in the ocean.<\/p><p>Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AXA Arctic Live 2021 live courses will take place in a virtual environment where presenters will deliver their lectures from their current location rather than from scientific stations.<\/p><p>Preparation<\/p><p>Preparing for this session is a great opportunity to develop your students' questioning skills. Think about a variety of questions about life and work as a marine scientist and how pollution might affect animals in the ocean. Consider questions and open-ended questions that you simply couldn't find the answer to using a search engine.<\/p><p>Session outline<\/p><p>1. Presentation (5 minutes)<\/p><p>The session begins with an introduction and overview of Marie-Ma\u00eblle's work, including a welcome to all the participating schools.<\/p><p>2. Presentation (20 minutes)<\/p><p>Marie-Ma\u00eblle will then explain her research and share what it's like to live and work on research vessels in the ocean.<\/p><p>3.
