Publication of issue 6 of the journal Francophonie Asie Pacifique entitled \"Environment and Sustainable Development in South-East Asia\", edited by AMU, IFI and IRD, prepared and edited by Emilie Strady (MIO -CEM), Alexis Drogoul (IRD, Vietnam Representative) and Nguyen Thai Huyen (HAU, Vietnam).
This is an important issue: conceived in line with the IRD's regional roadmap in Asia, it lists a range of work carried out by the IRD and its partners in Southeast Asia and enables us to measure its diversity but also its coherence, which we tried to highlight in the introduction.\u00a0

Short summary - South-East Asia is currently facing considerable challenges in its development trajectory, the most important of which relate to health and infectious diseases, environmental pollution, which has become a concern for the majority of the population, climate and environmental change, the development of inequalities in access to resources and food security. The aim of this issue of FAP is to highlight the scientific, developmental and francophone dimensions of the long-term interdisciplinary research work being carried out by IRD researchers and their partners in Southeast Asia, combining the environment, health and social sciences.<\/p>
