{"id":6988,"date":"2023-12-04T15:43:33","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T14:43:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/fr\/la-mer-en-debat-escale-a-marseille\/"},"modified":"2023-12-04T15:43:33","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T14:43:33","slug":"the-sea-in-debate-stopover-in-marseille","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/en\/la-mer-en-debat-escale-a-marseille\/","title":{"rendered":"Debating the sea: a stopover in Marseilles"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"basic-page-content\" class=\"page-content\">    <div class=\"content\">    <div class=\"container\">      <div class=\"row\">        <div class=\"col-xs-12\">                      <div class=\"container clearfix\">              <div class=\"row\">                <div class=\"col-xs-12\">                                  <\/div>              <\/div>            <\/div>                                <div class=\"body\">              <div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\"><div class=\"field-items\"><div class=\"field-item even\" property=\"content:encoded\"><p class=\"rtecenter\"><strong><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/ancien-site\/images\/bandeau_marseille_1200px.jpg\" class=\"colorbox-load\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/ancien-site\/resize\/images\/bandeau_marseille_1200px-1100x550.jpg\" style=\"width: 1100px; height: 550px;\" width=\"1100\" height=\"550\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">A major public debate, organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debatpublic.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Commission for Public Debate (CNDP)<\/a>takes place from <strong>20 November 2023<\/strong> at <strong>26 April 2024<\/strong> on French maritime planning.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">Topics include the future of the sea, coastlines, marine biodiversity and offshore wind power.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">Four simultaneous debates will be held on the following four seaboards: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debatpublic.fr\/la-mer-en-debat\/le-debat-en-normandie-et-dans-les-hauts-de-france-4678\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eastern Channel - North Sea<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debatpublic.fr\/la-mer-en-debat\/le-debat-en-bretagne-et-en-pays-de-la-loire-4681\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Atlantic - Western Channel<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debatpublic.fr\/la-mer-en-debat\/le-debat-en-nouvelle-aquitaine-4679\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Atlantic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debatpublic.fr\/la-mer-en-debat\/le-debat-en-mediterranee-4680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mediterranean<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/ancien-site\/images\/Documents\/escale_marseille.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A stopover for the debate will be held in Marseille from <strong>5 to 19 December<\/strong> (free admission)<\/a>. MIO staff will be taking part.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">with two highlights:<\/p><ul><li class=\"rtejustify\">the <strong>14\/12<\/strong> from 5pm to 8.30pm at the World Trade Centre (Centre Bourse);<\/li><li class=\"rtejustify\">the<strong> 15\/12 <\/strong>from 7.30pm at Artplex Canebi\u00e8re (R\u00e9form\u00e9s).<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"rtejustify\">This debate is of crucial importance because <strong>it precedes key decisions in maritime and energy planning in 2024 and contributes to the updating of the fa\u00e7ade strategic documents (DSF)<\/strong>. Local versions of the National Strategy for the Sea and the Coast, the DSFs are a new key stage in planning at sea.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">Your participation is therefore crucial <strong>shaping the future of the ocean<\/strong> thanks to your expertise and that of your partners and members.
