{"id":25732,"date":"2026-01-20T13:08:50","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T12:08:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=25732"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:23:24","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T13:23:24","slug":"3rd-edition-of-the-european-science-competition-eu-talenton","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/en\/agenda\/3e-edition-de-la-competition-scientifique-europeenne-eu-talenton\/","title":{"rendered":"3rd EU TalentOn European scientific competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the European project <em>Science Comes to Town<\/em>, the 3rd edition of the European science competition <strong><em>EU TalentOn<\/em> <\/strong>will take place in Brest this year.\nRegistration is currently open until <strong>30 April 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over the course of five days, young researchers from across Europe will work in teams of four or five to develop innovative solutions to the following five major societal challenges:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n \t<li>Adapting to climate change<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Cancer Prevention and Treatment<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Regenerating our oceans and waters<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Neutral and smart cities<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Soil health and food<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following a selection process in the spring, the finalists will travel to Brest to take part in the competition<strong> 7<\/strong> at <strong>11 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is a total of \u20ac80,000 in prize money up for grabs, including \u20ac12,000 for the Jury Prize.\nParticipants will also receive support from subject-matter and business experts to help them develop their project.\r\nThe costs associated with this event \u2013 international and local travel, accommodation and meals \u2013 will be covered by the organisers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eutalentonbrest2026.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>More information<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dans le cadre du projet europ\u00e9en Science Comes to Town, la 3e \u00e9dition de la comp\u00e9tition scientifique europ\u00e9enne EU TalentOn se tiendra cette ann\u00e9e \u00e0 Brest.
