{"id":26267,"date":"2026-07-06T20:54:20","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T18:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=26267"},"modified":"2026-09-14T00:11:40","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T22:11:40","slug":"exhibition-austral-les-engages-pour-locean-2","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/en\/agenda\/exposition-austral-les-engages-pour-locean-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Austral, Committed to the Ocean\u00ab exhibitions\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Exhibition - <a href=\"https:\/\/urls.fr\/0TEz_M\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lumexplore Festival<\/a>, 11th edition<\/strong>\r\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n \t<li><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Eden Th\u00e9\u00e2tre, La Ciotat<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span class=\"break-words tvm-parent-container\"><span dir=\"ltr\">From<strong> 9<\/strong> at <strong>13 September 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\" <em>Austral: those committed to the ocean<\/em> \u00bb\u2026continues his journey\u2026\"<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the Quai de la Photo in Paris, and then the \u00ab <em>Sharing the Sea<\/em> \u00bbin Guilvinec, in Brittany, part of our exhibition \u00ab <em>Austral: those committed to the ocean<\/em> \u00bbwill join La Ciotat and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lumexplore.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lumexplore Festival<\/a>, dedicated to exploration, science and the environment \u201c<em>Austral: those committed to the ocean<\/em>\u201d will be performed in the yurt, in the courtyard of the Eden Theatre!<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The result of a scientific mission aboard the <em>Marion Dufresne<\/em> Set in the Southern Ocean, this exhibition is the result of an art-science collaboration carried out between <strong>St\u00e9phanie Jacquet, <\/strong>CNRS-MIO research fellow and <a href=\"https:\/\/franckdesplanques.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Franck Desplanques<\/strong><\/a>, a photographer and documentary-maker, united by a shared ambition: to make the invisible visible.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By bringing together imagery and science, the exhibition delves into the heart of oceanographic research and the people who make it possible: scientists, sailors and crew.
