SUMMARY:MonGOOS General Assembly & Workshop 2025
DESCRIPTION:The state of the Mediterranean Sea evolves across multiple time and spatial scales\, driven by both external forcing and internal dynamics. From large\, quasi-steady currents spanning hundreds of kilometers to mesoscale\, submesoscale\, and small-scale turbulence at just a few meters\, these processes strongly influence the basin’s biogeochemistry\, productivity\, and overall health. \nWith climate change amplifying existing pressures—such as intense maritime traffic\, overfishing\, mass tourism\, pollution\, biodiversity loss\, and habitat degradation—understanding these multiscale interactions has never been more critical. Advancing our knowledge is key to predicting the basin’s future and safeguarding its ecosystems and societies. \nAs in previous years\, the General Assembly will precede the workshop\, taking place on 2 December 2025. \n \nImportant Dates\n\n 	01 August 2025 : Call for abstracts opens\n 	31 October 2025 : Deadline for registration & abstract submission\n\n \nSubmit your registration and abstracts\nFurther information\, including logistics and the detailed program\, will be shared soon. \n\nPlease also see the leaflet for more details

DESCRIPTION:Les Journées Nationales Gliders sont organisées tous les 2 ans par le comité du Parc d’Instruments Nationaux Gliders soutenu par l’INSU afin de rassembler la communauté scientifique et technique française autour de l’expertise Gliders. \nCes journées se dérouleront les 4 et 5 décembre 2025 à l’Université de Perpignan. \nLes inscriptions sont gratuites. Vous êtes invités à soumettre un abstract afin de présenter des données de déploiements glider centrés soit sur l’Observation ou des activités de Recherche et Développement. \nCes journées sont ouvertes essentiellement aux scientifiques et aux équipes techniques des laboratoires académiques français. \nDate limite des inscriptions : 31 juillet 2025. \n \nEn savoir plus
