DESCRIPTION:Early registration deadline : 11 September 2026. Abstract submission until : 8 September 2026. \nOn behalf of the Iberian Society of Cytometry (SIC) and the French Cytometry Association (AFC)\, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Granada\, Spain\, for the 1st Mediterranean Meeting on Flow Cytometry. This inaugural event is the result of a collaborative effort between the SIC and the AFC\, who have joined forces to create a unique and ambitious scientific gathering. \nThe meeting will take place from November 25th to 27th\, 2026\, at the Granada Exhibition and Conference Center\, and will bring together the SIC 2026 Intercalary Congress and the 29th Annual Congress of the AFC for the very first time. \nIn keeping with the rich scientific traditions of both societies\, the program will showcase the latest advances in flow cytometry across key disciplines such as Hematology\, Immunology\, Microbiology\, Cell Therapy\, Functional Cytometry\, and Quality Control. SUMMARY:EMBL Conference - From molecules to the future of predictive biology : memorial symposium for Peer Bork
DESCRIPTION:16 – 19 Feb 2027 – EMBL Heidelberg and Virtual. \nAt the start of 2026\, EMBL lost long-serving colleague and interim Director General Peer Bork\, who sadly passed away on 16 January\, 2026. A little over a year later\, we aim to celebrate Peer’s life and scientific legacy with a memorial symposium held in his honour. \nOpen to all\, the symposium aims to bring together scientists from across the international community to hear invited talks spanning the many fields in which Peer was active and influential throughout his career. \nThe programme will reflect on past achievements as well as explore the future directions of fields such as protein biology\, the human microbiome\, and more. The symposium will take the form of a four-day scientific meeting\, featuring invited speakers alongside short talks selected from submitted abstracts\, poster sessions\, and ample opportunities for networking and informal exchange. \n \nMore information
