l&#8217;oc\u00e9an se d\u00e9clinent \u00e0 travers un grand nombre de processus physiques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des \u00e9chelles spatio-temporelles et des dimensions diff\u00e9rentes. Nos sujets d&#8217;\u00e9tude englobent l&#8217;\u00e9chelle climatique, la m\u00e9so- \u00e0 (sous)-m\u00e9so\u00e9chelle et jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la turbulence \u00e0 microstructure. Ces structures dynamiques se retrouvent aussi bien \u00e0 la surface qu&#8217;en profondeur et aux interfaces (air\/mer, c\u00f4te\/large) et sont coupl\u00e9es entre elles par des cascades d&#8217;\u00e9nergie.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les objectifs de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe physique du laboratoire visent ainsi l&#8217;\u00e9tude de processus multi-e\u0301chelles et de leurs interactions dans la dynamique de l&#8217;oc\u00e9an et avec l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notre \u00e9quipe dispose d&#8217;une palette tr\u00e8s \u00e9toff\u00e9e d&#8217;instruments et de mod\u00e8les, qui chacun donne une vision parcellaire de cet oc\u00e9an d&#8217;\u00e9nergie : mesures in situ, mesures de t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection radar, r\u00e9seaux c\u00f4tiers de capteurs, mod\u00e8les num\u00e9riques de circulation. Elle s&#8217;approprie \u00e9galement depuis peu des outils nouveaux que sont l&#8217;analyse de donn\u00e9es spatiales et les m\u00e9thodes d&#8217;intelligence artificielle, ces derni\u00e8res fournissant de nouveaux paradigmes pour l&#8217;analyse de donn\u00e9es.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notre objectif principal est de fusionner ces donn\u00e9es pour permettre de combler les \u00e9chelles manquantes, de les lier entre elles, et ainsi acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une vision en quatre dimensions plus compl\u00e8te des processus en jeu. Cette approche plus globale nous permettra d&#8217;appr\u00e9hender des questions importantes \u00e0 la fois d&#8217;un point de vue scientifique et de par leur implication sur les enjeux soci\u00e9taux et climatiques actuels (dynamique du transport de chaleur et de mati\u00e8re, risques naturels, \u00e9v\u00e9nements extr\u00eames, ..).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ces objectifs de recherche se d\u00e9clinent dans plusieurs cadres d&#8217;\u00e9tude :<\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/recherche\/les-equipes-de-recherche\/equipe-oceanographie-physique-littorale-et-cotiere-oplc\/oceanographie-cotiere-2022-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oc\u00e9anographie c\u00f4ti\u00e8re<\/a><\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/recherche\/les-equipes-de-recherche\/equipe-oceanographie-physique-littorale-et-cotiere-oplc\/vagues-courants-et-processus-cotiers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vagues, courants et processus c\u00f4tiers<\/a><\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/recherche\/les-equipes-de-recherche\/equipe-oceanographie-physique-littorale-et-cotiere-oplc\/flux-a-linterface-air-mer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flux \u00e0 l&#8217;interface air\/mer<\/a><\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mio.osupytheas.fr\/fr\/recherche\/les-equipes-de-recherche\/equipe-oceanographie-physique-littorale-et-cotiere-oplc\/vitesses-verticales-oceaniques-et-couplage-bio-geochimique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vitesses verticales oc\u00e9aniques et couplage bio-g\u00e9ochimique<\/a><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;\u00e9quipe OPLC se r\u00e9partit principalement entre les campus de Marseille-Luminy et Toulon-La Garde.
