Martini-MIO, F Jourdin-Shom) sur le N\/O L\u2019Europe, en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans l\u2019oc\u00e9an, la bioluminescence, l\u2019\u00e9mission de lumi\u00e8re produite par des organismes vivants, est un moyen de communication largement r\u00e9pandu fa\u00e7onnant la r\u00e9partition spatiale des communaut\u00e9s. Pr\u00e8s de 75% des organismes de la colonne d\u2019eau poss\u00e8dent cette capacit\u00e9, de la surface jusqu\u2019aux grands fonds marins. La bioluminescence repr\u00e9sente un indice de la pr\u00e9sence des organismes et de leurs interactions. Cependant, il n\u2019existe que peu de donn\u00e9es quantitatives de la bioluminescence et celles-ci s\u2019arr\u00eatent souvent aux quelques dizaines de m\u00e8tres sup\u00e9rieurs, ce qui limite la compr\u00e9hension des processus et l\u2019organisation spatiale li\u00e9s \u00e0 cette capacit\u00e9 des organismes.<br \/>En s\u2019appuyant sur l\u2019innovation technologique en oc\u00e9anographie, <em>BIOLUMOPS<\/em> propose :<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">d\u2019am\u00e9liorer, impl\u00e9menter et d\u00e9ployer deux capteurs de bioluminescence sur des planeurs sous-marins autonomes (glider),<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">de d\u00e9ployer ces v\u00e9hicules en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e (nord-ouest) pour obtenir une cartographie spatio-temporelle des variables environnementales (chlorophylle, temp\u00e9rature, salinit\u00e9) ainsi que de la bioluminescence entre 0 et 600 m de profondeur,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">de d\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9thodes de traitement du signal de bioluminescence afin de classifier les diff\u00e9rents groupes d\u2019organismes pr\u00e9sents,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">d\u2019obtenir une cartographie de subsurface des compositions phytoplanctoniques et des corr\u00e9lations bioluminescence \/ chlorophylle-a.<\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019\u00e9quipe glider et les pilotes du MIO jouent un r\u00f4le majeur dans cette campagne avec le d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 bord de l\u2019Europe de 3 gliders simultan\u00e9s, \u00e9quip\u00e9s d\u2019instrumentation innovante, et naviguant en meute pendant 2 semaines. Bravo !<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le second leg aura lieu en ao\u00fbt 2025, \u00e0 bord du N\/O Le Thalassa.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Personnels MIO en mer et \u00e0 terre impliqu\u00e9s dans le leg 1 : S\u00e9verine Martini, Nagib Bhairy, Jean-Luc Fuda, Christopher Luneau, G\u00e9rald Gr\u00e9gory, Jeanne Maingot-Lep\u00e9e, Louise Rousselet (SPASSO), Jean-Marc Feuerstein, Anthony Bosse, et St\u00e9phanie Barillon. Autres laboratoires impliqu\u00e9s dans le projet : Shom, LEMAR, LIRMM, DT-INSU, LOV, Ifremer.
