The 22nd of October<\/strong>, the glider used in the framework of the PataSWOT project was successfully recovered.<\/p>

The glider covered 400 km in 15 days and achieved 1023 profiles between the slope and outer portion of the Argentine Continental Shelf.<\/p>

The region is recognized for the large primary productivity that sustains important fisheries from Argentina and many other countries. Data collected by the glider will complement those collected by three moorings deployed during the cruise and multiple biogeochemical measurements performed by the Falkor (too) R\/V of Schmidt Ocean Institute.<\/p>

Andrea Doglioli (MIO<\/a>), Laura Ruiz Etcheverry (IFAECI<\/a>) and Martin Saraceno (IFAECI<\/a>) will keep collaborating to analyze the dataset collected.<\/p>

Satellite altimetry data will be particularly useful to integrate the different measures.<\/p>
