Pourtant, les \u00e9changes de carbone inorganique \u00e0 l&#8217;interface air\u2011mer varient fortement dans l&#8217;espace et le temps, et leur compr\u00e9hension reste un d\u00e9fi majeur.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et l&#8217;Atlantique Nord offrent un contraste fascinant pour \u00e9tudier ces dynamiques. Dans le bassin m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en, o\u00f9 le renouvellement rapide des masses d&#8217;eau coexiste avec des apports c\u00f4tiers et des variations d&#8217;alcalinit\u00e9, le pH diminue et les flux de CO\u2082 se modifient d\u00e9j\u00e0 sous l&#8217;effet du changement climatique. Ces variations locales soulignent l&#8217;importance de suivre la sensibilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me aux processus r\u00e9gionaux. En Atlantique Nord, les stocks de carbone anthropique augmentent globalement mais pr\u00e9sentent une forte variabilit\u00e9 spatiale et interannuelle, modul\u00e9e par la North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) et la circulation oc\u00e9anique (AMOC).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour comprendre pleinement cette variabilit\u00e9 et ses m\u00e9canismes, il est essentiel de disposer de mesures pr\u00e9cises et continues du syst\u00e8me CO\u2082 marin. Les flotteurs BGC-Argo, \u00e9quip\u00e9s de capteurs pH, permettent d\u00e9sormais d&#8217;observer cette variabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes profondeurs et sur le long terme. Cependant, la qualit\u00e9 des mesures reste cruciale pour d\u00e9river des flux air\u2011mer fiables et relier les variations locales aux processus r\u00e9gionaux et globaux.
