Publi\u00e9e dans Nature Geoscience, cette \u00e9tude propose une nouvelle perspective pour comprendre comment les microbes influencent le cycle du carbone oc\u00e9anique. En r\u00e9v\u00e9lant l\u2019impact des structures physiques (tourbillons cycloniques, anticycloniques, fronts oc\u00e9aniques, visibles en surface par des images satellitales) sur les flux des micro-organismes, cette \u00e9tude permet de mieux estimer le bilan du carbone oc\u00e9anique et d\u2019affiner les mod\u00e8les climatiques en int\u00e9grant ces processus physiques et microbiens jusqu\u2019ici sous-estim\u00e9s.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><div class=\"field__item\"><div class=\"entity-block content-inset\"><h4><strong>Laboratoires CNRS impliqu\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h4><p>\u00a0<\/p><div class=\"field--name-body\"><div class=\"tex2jax_process\"><ul><li><strong>Institut M\u00e9diterran\u00e9en d\u2019Oc\u00e9anologie (MIO &#8211;
