Il met en \u00e9vidence l\u2019importance d\u2019approches interdisciplinaires, \u00e0 l\u2019interface entre oc\u00e9anographie, microbiologie et g\u00e9osciences, pour am\u00e9liorer notre compr\u00e9hension du fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me oc\u00e9anique.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce num\u00e9ro sp\u00e9cial est en lien \u00e9troit avec le projet international\u00a0<strong>TONGA<\/strong>, port\u00e9 conjointement par le\u00a0<strong>Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography (MIO)<\/strong>\u00a0et le\u00a0<strong>Laboratoire d\u2019Oc\u00e9anographie de Villefranche (LOV)<\/strong>, et men\u00e9 dans le Pacifique Sud.
