Deux prototypes existent et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans diverses r\u00e9gions depuis 2011. Les mesures obtenues, principalement par conditions de houle, apportent un nouveau point de vue par rapport aux mesures effectu\u00e9es sur les navires oc\u00e9anographiques.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">Dans l\u2019article publi\u00e9, on qualifie les mesures et on \u00e9value diverses param\u00e9trisations utilis\u00e9es dans les mod\u00e8les de couche limite atmosph\u00e9rique de surface, depuis le coefficient de frottement jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fonction de dissipation normalis\u00e9e de la turbulence. La distribution du code de calcul de flux est \u00e9galement publique, <a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.osupytheas.fr\/bourras.d\/albatros_public_distrib\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/gitlab.osupytheas.fr\/bourras.d\/albatros_public_distrib<\/a><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">OCARINA poursuivra sa mission en 2020 \u00e0 la Barbade, dans le cadre du projet EUREC4A (projet port\u00e9 par le LMD, S. Speich, H. Bellenger), \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019instruments compl\u00e9mentaires, dont un ADCP signature et un prototype d\u2019instrument de mesure des vagues capillaires d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l\u2019IRPHE et l\u2019OSU-Pytheas (C. Luneau et Hubert Branger).<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">&#8220;Data obtained from a wave-following platform are used to calibrate coefficients and multiple parameterizations of air-sea fluxes in swell conditions.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">Turbulent fluxes are physical quantities that describe the exchanges of heat and momentum through the air-sea interface. They are critical to the processes of weather and climate change. A limited understanding of air-sea exchanges makes weather prediction difficult and lead to uncertainty in climate projection. A big challenge is the lack of efficient technology to make measurements.<\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\">Bourras et al. [2019] have obtained in-situ observations on a novel wave-following platform in four oceanic regions and under different conditions. Various parameterizations for surface fluxes and related coefficients are calibrated against the observations.
