Le projet BioSWOT AdAC<\/a> (PI F.d\u2019Ovidio, LOCEAN-IPSL, co-PIs A.M.Doglioli and G.Gr\u00e9gori, MIO) a \u00e9t\u00e9 accept\u00e9 par la joint call NASA\/CNES.<\/p>

Ce projet a pour objectif l’exploitation scientifique des toutes premi\u00e8res observations du futur satellite SWOT (Surface Water and Ocean Topography<\/a>) au-del\u00e0 de l’oc\u00e9anographie physique, en se concentrant notamment sur les questions biophysiques actuelles.<\/p>

Le lancement du satellite SWOT est pr\u00e9vu en 2022 et les chercheurs du consortium international BioSWOT Adopt A Cross Over<\/em> envisagent une s\u00e9rie de campagnes oc\u00e9anographiques dans plusieurs sites de l’oc\u00e9an globale pour d\u00e9velopper des exp\u00e9riences multidisciplinaires in situ destin\u00e9es \u00e0 \u00e9tudier la dynamique \u00e0 fine \u00e9chelle des courants oc\u00e9aniques et son r\u00f4le dans la structuration de la biodiversit\u00e9 marine.<\/p>
