The 12ᵉ call of the EIG CONCERT-Japan programme concerns "Oceans: Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation . It is dedicated to research into mitigating global warming in marine environments.
It is divided into two sub-categories Using Blue Carbon Ecosystems for CO₂ Removal and Understanding Ocean Processes for Climate Change Adaptation.
At least one Japanese team and two European teams from the partner countries must be involved in the projects.
The partner countries are France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Estonia, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
The call is open until 22 July 2025.
