A France TV documentary posted online on 19 May 2025: Turquoise waters, multicoloured reefs, dolphins and whales: how much longer will we be able to enjoy the splendours of the Mediterranean coast? How far will its beaches shrink? How much fish can we eat without encouraging over-fishing? Will jellyfish invade everything? With over-tourism, pollution and global warming, the Mediterranean has never been so vulnerable. One sign: plastic has been found in fish stomachs and even in the deep sea! But solutions do exist. Jamy Gourmaud meets some of the enthusiasts who are trying to preserve the Mediterranean.
