On 18 June, MIO took part in the 10th anniversary of the MixiVoile association, which promotes the inclusion of disabled people through sailing.
The event was held at the Roucas Blanc water sports centre in Marseille, and was attended by adults and children.
Members of the Biogeochemistry team led a number of marine science discovery workshops, including a plankton net sampling session followed by an observation of micro-organisms, and an experiment simulating ocean circulation in a closed environment.
