The 2027 Thematic Schools campaign will open on 29 January 2026.
Applicants for thematic schools have until 13 March 2026 to send an e-mail to training for the Provence and Corsica delegation and scientific training delegate (DSaF) from the lead institute, a declaration of intent, in the format of the document downloadable from the HRD website. The file must be in .doc format with the name : DRn°_Intention_Short title_ET2027.doc.
This first phase is a prerequisite.
From 15 April 2026 project sponsors will be informed by e-mail of the outcome of their application.
Once the declarations of intent have been validated, the promoters must :
- send the complete file to the delegation to which they belong by sending a copy to the scientific training delegates (DSaF) of the institutes concerned, no later than 5 June 2026.
- complete an online form via the collaborative platform Core HR-Training.
No later than 19 June 2026 The Delegations« training departments will forward all applications to the Professional Development Department (SDP) via the »CNRS Training« collaborative Core platform and will submit the Delegation's opinion on the »DRH-Formation" Core platform.»

At the end of the Thematic School : The report for each school must be completed and submitted on the Core «CNRS Training» site (standard document available), within one month of the school being held, and no later than 5 December 2026 if it is held in November of the same year.
