The French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Airbus are launching the 18th Irène Joliot-Curie Prize. The closing date for applications is midnight on 26 September.
The 2019 Irène Joliot-Curie Prize comprises three categories
The "Woman Scientist of the Year" category is awarded to a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to public research through the openness of her subject, the importance of her work and recognition in her scientific field at both national and international level - prize money: €40,000.
The "Young Female Scientist" category highlights and encourages a young woman who stands out for her career and work, making her a talented specialist in her field - prize: €15,000.
The "Women, Research and Enterprise" category rewards a woman who has developed scientific and/or technical innovations in a research and development capacity, by working within a company, or by contributing to the creation of a company - prize money: 15,000 euros.
