Ms Bizat will officially take up her post on 02 May 2019.
Her background in a few lines: With a DEA in virology and experience in higher education, Thu Bizat joined a biotechnology start-up before managing a European network of excellence at INRA: "EADGENE". The latter focuses on genomic research into animal diseases, food safety and human health.
In 2009, she passed the CNRS competitive examination to become administrative and financial manager of the Leprince Ringuet laboratory at the Ecole Polytechnique research centre.
