The MIO staff wishes Dominique Poirot a pleasant and active retirement.

A large number of MIO staff came to wish Dominique Poirot, Administrative Manager, a pleasant and active retirement on Monday 08 April 2019.
Richard Sempéré recounted Dominique's career at the CNRS... from Paris to Marseille, from the Délégation Sud-Est to the MIO, via the COM and the LMGEM. He highlighted her sense of public service, her rigour, her hard work and her self-sacrifice in managing major administrative and financial projects: the creation of the MIO, the management of ERDF funds, the move to Océanomed, the preparation of Management Dialogues, the organisation of MIO Days and numerous conferences and workshops.
Dominique Poirot thanked all those with whom she had had the pleasure of working over the years. She congratulated herself on her career progression, which has taken her from Research Technician to Assistant Engineer and finally Design Engineer, a sign of recognition for her hard and rigorous work. She concluded by saying that she was happy to be leaving working life with the prospect of having time to devote to her family and hobbies.
The MIO staff then shared this moment of conviviality over a "world flavours" cocktail.
All MIO staff wish him "Godspeed".
