On Monday 1 July at 11 a.m. in the Salle Egée, Patrick Louchouarn, Vice President of the University of Texas at Galveston, will sign a cooperation agreement with the M.I.O/AMU in the presence of Pierre Chiappeta, Vice President of Research at AMU, Amira Khellaf from AMU's Direction de la Recherche et de la Valorisation and people from AMU's international relations department (JC Guillemot, S Delmercato).
This agreement concerns research aspects (Sargasse project) but there is a desire to extend it to other themes and teaching. This university's teaching/research is somewhat similar to ours.
The pre-signing presentations and informal discussions will provide an opportunity for fruitful exchanges and new projects. In the afternoon, Patrick Louchouarn will visit other laboratories in Aix.
