We would like to inform you of the launch of the "Thomas Jefferson Fund" Call for Projects by the French Embassy in the United States. This programme supports collaborative projects between French and American research teams within the framework of new collaborations.
The support mainly concerns the mobility of lecturers, researchers, post-doctoral and doctoral students and certain logistical costs associated with mobility.
Priority will be given to the most innovative projects involving transatlantic mobility, collaborative research activities, the joint organisation of workshops and conferences, the joint publication of articles and the participation of doctoral students.
Fields covered: ALL: Human and Social Sciences (SHS); Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Science-Society (interdisciplinary SHS-STEM theme)
Project leaders must be "young" researchers: post-docs, McFs, research fellows (for France);
Funds allocated: $20,000 for two years;
N.B. Additional support will be given to projects in the areas covered by the "Make our Planet great again" initiative: sustainable development, energy transition, climate change, etc.
