Two LMIs in which the MIO is heavily involved:
LMI BIOTEC H2 - Production and storage of biohydrogen and methane from fermentable food by-products
Signatories: Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Institut de recherche pour le développement.
LMI BIOTEC H2 aims to produce biohydrogen from agri-food waste. This process would represent an energy-generating technology that is fully respectful of the environment.

LMI COSYS-MED - Contaminants and marine ecosystems in the southern Mediterranean
Signatories: the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, IRESA (Institution de la Recherche et de l'Enseignement Supérieur Agricoles) and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement.
These signatures demonstrate the commitment of the IRD and Tunisian research institutions to a sustainable future, as part of an equitable scientific partnership.
The renewal of the COSYS-MED laboratory will strengthen existing cooperation on the major issue of contaminants in marine environments and their impact on biodiversity in the southern Mediterranean.
