In the current health context, which seems to be developing favourably, and according to the latest government instructions:We believe that the rules governing boarding our station ships could be relaxed in the coming weeks if health conditions continue to improve or remain stable in June.Maintaining the missions of the FOF station fleet ships is an important part of the scientific activities of the laboratories and observatories. All the activities requiring the presence of agents must be carried out under conditions that give priority above all to the safety of people, both on land and on board, with a view to the effectiveness of the activities carried out by the fleet. The missions at sea of the vessels of the coastal fleet under the command of the DT-INSU fall within this framework, subject to the checks necessary for them to run smoothly and the guarantee of health measures to protect people. This implies strict control of the number of people on board, sailors and scientific support staff, and compliance with barrier measures (wearing a mask and body protection, physical distance). The CNRS, owner and operator of the boats in the FOF station fleet, has therefore decided to revert to the normal staffing levels attached to each of its vessels, with effect from 1 July 2021.This applies to sailors as well as special staff (ITAs and researchers) who embark on CNRS station ships. It should be noted that all outings must be accompanied by the signature of a mission order under the responsibility of the unit director and that, if the mission is to take place outside the European area or in Overseas France, it will have to be subject to special arrangements involving a waiver from the CNRS presidency for the staff reporting to it, under the instruction of the institute and the FSD.
