An awareness-raising day on access to biodiversity and benefit sharing will be held on Monday 23 June at the Provence and Corsica CNRS delegation on the Joseph Aiguier campus.
The CNRS regional delegation is organising an awareness-raising day with the IRD and Aix-Marseille University on access to biodiversity and benefit sharing on Monday 23 June 2022.
The Nagoya Protocol regulates access to genetic resources and the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from their use (ABS), with the aim of promoting the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
The aim of the day will be to remind participants of the origins and spirit of the regulations, and to explain the obligations they impose on research projects.
