The TEM (Maritime Energy Transition) Prize is back! Apply before 15 April 2022 for

Created in 2020 by the Académie de Marine and Soper, the TEM Prize aims to encourage
initiatives towards a low-carbon transition in the maritime sector. It rewards a player (person
An individual, a company, an institution) with a project, author of a thesis or study, etc..,
providing concrete solutions to the challenges posed by decarbonisation of the sector.
The winner will be presented with a trophy at a ceremony organised by the Prix TEM, as follows
a cheque for €2,500 to support his project. In addition, he will become a "Permanent Guest" of
the Académie de Marine for a year. During this period, he was invited to take part in various
Academy public events. Lastly, the winner will receive publicity
to promote its achievements through the various communication media of the TEM Prize, of
Marine Academy and SOPER.
Applications will be examined in two stages. All applications received will first be
submitted to a panel of experts selected by the Académie de Marine and SOPER. The projects selected will be
then submitted to the Academy's "Foundation Prizes Committee", which will select the winner.
To take part, all you have to do is send an application by e-mail to the following address
contact@academiedemarine.fr before 15/04/2022. The application must include a
twenty or so pages highlighting the innovative and unique aspects of the project, as well as a
summary of no more than two pages. All applicants are invited to complete, sign and return the
Application form (available on the Marine Academy website). Candidates
