Through this prize, the Bouches-du-Rhône County Council is supporting interdisciplinary research, whether fundamental or applied, in the social sciences and humanities as well as in the exact sciences.
The aim of this event is to honour the department's scientific community (exact sciences, human and social sciences, medicine, etc.) by awarding 3 prizes: the Grand Prix, the Young Researcher Prize and the Special Prize. These prizes are awarded to researchers, young researchers, collaborators and research teams who have recently distinguished themselves through the originality of their work and/or its impact on civil society and the economy of Provence, nationally and internationally.
The prizes are open to scientific and technological communities throughout the Bouches-du-Rhône department. So, researchers and lecturers, join us in this adventure, communicate and showcase your know-how, your skills and those of your teams. As well as providing financial support for your organisation, the media coverage given to the event will enable you to gain or maintain a high profile in the scientific community and among the general public.
The "Departmental Prize for Research in Provence" will be awarded on Tuesday 30 November 2021 from 10.30am at the Hôtel du Département in Marseille.
