The Institut d'établissement des Ocean Sciences intends to support the organisation of multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary scientific conferences and events on seas and oceans.
To be eligible, the event must satisfy all of the following conditions:
- The theme must fall within one of the OCEAN Institute's four research priorities:
- The current and past dynamics of ecosystems, the impact of climate change, resilience to natural and anthropogenic pressures; ;
- The risks and protection of coastal zones on the world ocean ;
- Observation systems and data for ocean sciences ;
- The blue economy, governance based on observation and the prevention of marine pollution.
- The event should help to raise the profile of inter- and multi-disciplinary research into seas and oceans.
- The event must take place between 1st January 2026 and the 31 August 2026
The maximum amount of aid that can be granted is €1,500.
