Projects must be submitted by Midnight on 10 March 2026.
To promote interdisciplinarity within Aix-Marseille University, an “Inter-ED” call for thesis projects was set up in 2008, under which ten doctoral contracts have been earmarked for 2026.
Eligibility criteria
Management The thesis project must be submitted by :
- an HDR thesis supervisor or equivalent
- one HDR or non-HDR thesis co-supervisor
These two supervisors must be attached to two different amU doctoral schools, and as far as possible to two different laboratories. Under this call for Inter-ED projects, thesis project leaders, whether directors or co-directors, may only apply for one project. Project leaders must inform their team leaders, unit directors and doctoral school (ED) directors of their project before it is submitted.
Key aspects of the project : The thesis project must be interdisciplinary and innovative.
Filing procedures
Complete the project information sheet Enter and submit the project by Midnight on 10 March 2026 on the’Dedicated AMUform.
The project information sheet must be submitted to AMUForm in PDF format, entitled as follows: InterEd_PorteurName_EDXXX(main ED)_EDXXX(partner ED). E.g.: InterED_BrunoMartin_ED355_ED67
The application must also be sent before Midnight on 10 March 2026 to the MIO Management, à Pascal LESAGE, and team managers.
Please note that a person with an inter-ED subject will not be able to submit an application for this year's ED 251 competition.
