The position of Director of the INSU is available: supported by a management team, the Director of the INSU develops and drives the Institute's scientific strategy and leads the Institute's national mission in conjunction with its partners - organisations and universities, the relevant ministries and various regional stakeholders. As a member of the CNRS Management Board and reporting directly to the Centre's CEO, the INSU Director also contributes to the Institute's forward-looking and strategic thinking.
The date on which he or she takes up the post will depend on the timetable for appointing the next CNRS CEO. It is envisaged a priori between 1 July and 1 September 2026. The position is located at CNRS headquarters, Campus Gérard Mégie, 3 rue Michel Ange, 75016 Paris.
