The Ocean-Atmosphere Specialised Commission, through the Scientific Expertise Committees (CES) of the LEFE programme, organises or co-organises scientific workshops on an emerging idea or a scientific theme to be structured, in the Ocean-Atmosphere field (1 or 2 days). In this context, we are launching a call for proposals for scientific workshops for the year 2025, including financial contributions.
To this end, the LEFE programme will examine all proposals received before 30 September 2024 to the following email address francois.schmitt@cnrs.fr in free format (PDF) of a maximum of 2 pages indicating the title of the event, the organising laboratory, the name of the sponsor, the venue and dates, the Scientific Expertise Committee (SEC) concerned (CHAT, CLIMAGO, CYBER, GMMC or MANU), the inclusion of the workshop in the challenges and priority areas of the Ocean-Atmosphere foresight, a brief general description and a provisional budget describing any co-financing and the amount requested from LEFE.
Colloquia or meetings related to the setting up or monitoring of a research project are not eligible. Funded workshops are intended to provide input for LEFE's ESCs and a report will be requested at the end of the workshop.
