This call for projects is open from 15 December 2025 at 28 January 2026 for campaigns programmable from 2027 onwards on the regional and coastal vessels of the IR* FOF, with specific geographical or temporal restrictions within their respective areas of action.
Applications must be submitted via the SGC portal. This interface can be accessed via an Ifremer extranet account.
For people outside Ifremer, this extranet account can be created on request to sgc@flotteoceanographique.fr.
You will find below the different stages of the calendar:
- 28 January 2026 Deadline for submitting "offshore campaign applications" online on the Campaign Management System (CMS);
- 5 February 2026 National Coastal Fleet Commission (CNFC) Bureau meeting; selection and dispatch of dossiers to external experts, assignment of rapporteurs and co-rapporteurs;
- From 31 March to 2 April 2026 (week 14): the CNFC assesses and ranks the dossiers at the plenary session;
- Late spring 2026 The first draft coastal programme for 2027, based on the assessments carried out under this call for projects.
- July 2026 October or November: Examination and opinion of the French Oceanographic Fleet Steering Committee; October or November 2026: Validation by the Fleet Steering Committee of the 2027 timetable.
