The Département of Bouches-du-Rhône supports research in all its disciplines, whether fundamental or applied, in the social sciences and humanities as well as in the exact sciences.
The Departmental Prize for Research in Provence honours the Bouches-du-Rhône scientific community by awarding 3 prizes:
- the Grand Prix,
- the Young Researcher Prize,
- the Special Prize.
These prizes are awarded to researchers, young researchers, collaborators and research teams who have recently distinguished themselves through the originality of their work and/or their impact on civil society and the economy of Provence, nationally and internationally.
The prizes are open to the scientific and technological communities. Candidates must be attached to a public research institution or organisation located in the département and hold a doctorate (or equivalent).
The theme for 2025 is Biodiversity, invasive and harmful species: finding solutions in the face of global warming.
Application deadline : 23 June 2025 included.Applications must be written entirely in French.
