The Mediterranean Institute for Environmental Transition (ITEM) is launching the sixth edition of its flagship call for proposals «.« Transition in Action ». This call for proposals supports integrated, innovative, cross-disciplinary and cross-sectoral research projects linked to the socio-environmental challenges facing the Mediterranean region.
Objectives
The call is aimed at researchers and teacher-researchers wishing to develop a collaborative project combining research and training, mobilising interdisciplinarity and intersectorality to respond to strategic societal issues in the Mediterranean.
Projects must :
- Involve at least two research units associated with ITEM
- Be involved in one of the Institute's three scientific areas of focus
- Clearly explain the degree of interdisciplinary integration
- Integrate a teaching initiative aimed at at least two Masters courses and/or doctoral schools
