An international mobility opportunity for doctoral students, for stays abroad of 1 to 3 months: Doctoral mobility.
Objectives:
- To obtain the "European Doctorate" label, which requires 3 months' mobility and other rules relating to the doctoral defence).
- Change laboratories to acquire new skills or techniques - Start a collaboration with another PhD student or an established researcher,...
- Experimenting with ideas or hypotheses in a laboratory with the appropriate equipment - Any other motivation related to the field of environmental transition.
- Mobility within the CIVIS European Campus is strongly encouraged
Eligibility
- Be enrolled in one of ITEM's member doctoral schools - Doctoral research subject in line with ITEM's research areas - Doctoral supervisor or co-supervisor from an ITEM-affiliated laboratory - If applicable, the doctoral student's contract or employer must allow the student's mobility. - The host institution may be located anywhere in the world, except in France.
- The proposal must be fully completed and include the agreement of the thesis supervisor(s) and the host institution. - The mobility period must take place during the calendar year.
Area 3: Assessment
- Evaluation of the application received by an ITEM committee
- The evaluators will be affiliated to AMU and one of them will be external to the ITEM Comex.
- Evaluation twice a year, after submission of projects in January and June.
Axis 4: Timetable
- Two submission dates per year: 24 January and 16 June
- For a departure during the calendar year of funding granted

- Mobility of 1 to 3 months
- Monthly allowance of €1,000; limited to €3,000 for a 3-month move
