UTLN Master of Excellence Scholarships 2023/2024 - International students

The University of Toulon is setting up an excellence scholarship scheme for international Master's students. This scheme supports the university's identity.

This excellence scholarship scheme is aimed at international Master's students.

The scheme enables a maximum of 3 foreign students to be selected and awarded an excellence scholarship to finance a Masters-level degree course:

12 months, for enrolment in M2
a maximum of 24 months, for enrolment in M1.

The monthly grant is €950, with a first payment due on arrival at UTLN.

The student's travel expenses, as well as the operating costs associated with their stay at UTLN, are not covered.
Scholarship holders will be given priority for accommodation in CROUS residences.

Eligibility criteria for applications

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the following criteria:

Call reserved for candidates of foreign nationality. Candidates with dual nationality, one of whom is French, are not eligible.
Applicants studying in France are not eligible, whatever their nationality;

Combination of grants: foreign students already receiving a grant from the French government under another programme at the time of application are not eligible, even if it is a grant that only covers social cover, an Erasmus + grant or a grant from the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie.
Accumulation linked to an internship bonus, where applicable, is authorised;

The applicant's Bachelor's degree must have been awarded by a foreign university (or postgraduate school at bac+5 level);

The minimum average required in the 3rd year of the Licence is 15/20 ;

The minimum language level required is C1 French and B2 English;

The subject of the proposed research dissertation/internship (accompanied, where appropriate, by the intention to pursue a doctorate at UTLN) must be in line with one of UTLN's strategic areas:

The applicant undertakes to liaise with his/her home university (UTLN ambassador/competent representative there).

If you are a candidate, here is the procedure to follow:

1-Applicants should contact the International Relations Department-SRI, specifying the name and speciality of the chosen Masters course;

2-The SRI will put the applicant in touch with the teacher responsible for the chosen Master's degree;

3-The SRI will provide access rights to the platform dedicated to submitting the application;

4-The applicant has until 27 January 2023 to submit the form, signed and completed with the teacher, and provide all the documents requested.

Selection procedures

The preliminary study and pre-selection of applications is, where appropriate, carried out by the component concerned under conditions specified by a procedure.

The applications are ranked by a dedicated committee, which proposes the grant awards to the university president. This committee will meet in March.
The results will be announced in April.
