The call for proposals is investigated, implemented and monitored by the following operational departments: Directorate General for Economic Development, Innovation, Attractiveness and International Relations / Directorate for Innovation, Transitions and Higher Education and Research in conjunction with the Mission Égalité Femmes-Hommes.
Despite advances in gender equality in research, women are still under-represented in scientific careers.
The Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Area is affirming its commitment to equality and inclusion by launching the "Femmes et sciences - Jeunes chercheuses" prize, as part of its strategy to support research, scientific attractiveness and inclusive excellence.
This call for projects makes an active contribution to this dynamic by rewarding women for excellence at the start of their careers. The aim is also to support female researchers in the development of their work and to offer greater visibility to their scientific contributions in order to encourage female scientific vocations and promote parity in academic research.
